ShortTermMissions.com exists to help people quickly connect with mission opportunities that fit their gifts and calling.

On March 31st, 2000 – in response to thousands of missions-minded people constantly asking for missions trip information – Mission Data International (M-DAT) began working to accomplish a vision for hundreds of mission organizations to partner together and provide a quality resource for short-term missions.

The vision became a reality when the website opened its doors to the public to “Start Finding Answers” to their short-term mission questions on December 16, 2000.

1. To become a central place for people to learn about, interact on, and discover short-term mission trips.
2. To provide an effective way for organizations to get the word out about their mission opportunities.

The bottom line is, we desire for people to discover opportunities for using their unique set of experiences, gifts, and passions for advancing God’s Kingdom.
